"Blue Anthuriums", watercolor, collection of Geoffrey Smith, Walnut Creek, California.

Paliuli, Watercolors is an expression of Robb Schaller, who uses the name Paliuli to keep in touch with his Hawai'ian aumakua. Please refer to the original blog, www.paliuliwatercolors.blogspot.com for more paintings. Robb has been a student of Hawai'ian culture, hula, 'ukulele and music for many years, and has been greatly influenced by his experience in Hawai'i. He works between his psychic workshop on the eastern slope of Mauna Loa on the Island of Hawai'i and his studio in San Francisco.

Although many of Paliuli's visual themes are Hawai'i-besed, an examination of his work will indicate that he is a versitile technician.
